The Malta Stock Exchange (MSE) brought together listed companies and investors at its Investor Conference on Thursday 29th October at the Malta Marriott Resort and Spa in St Julian’s.

The conference was aimed at investors and potential investors seeking a clearer understanding of the opportunities available through companies listed on the MSE and the wider role of capital markets. A select group of listed companies presented their long term value propositions directly to attendees, covering growth prospects, strategic direction, market positioning and the value they aim to deliver. Sessions also addressed the governance of listed companies and the factors investors should weigh when assessing opportunities.

By bringing issuers and investors together in one forum, the Exchange encouraged closer engagement between listed companies and the investing public, and to build wider awareness of how Malta’s capital markets work. For retail investors in particular, the conference offered a direct line to the management of companies whose shares and bonds they hold or are considering, with topics ranging from company performance and future growth plans to sector positioning and recent developments across the market.

The event comes at a positive moment for Malta’s standing with investors. Business News Malta reported last week that 81 per cent of respondents to the EY Malta Attractiveness Survey 2026 rate the country as an attractive place to invest, up for the second year running and the highest reading since 2016.
