EY Malta is placing technology, innovation and business transformation at the centre of the business conversation with the return of EY Engage, an event bringing together business leaders, technology professionals and senior decision-makers to examine the forces shaping the future of organisations.

Building on previous editions, the programme concentrates on practical applications of technology and AI, moving beyond theory to address the questions organisations are working through today. This year's edition is structured around four themes, Protect, Operate, Enable and Control, reflecting the shift many organisations are making from AI experimentation to enterprise-wide adoption.

Protect covers cyber resilience in an AI-driven world, exploring how organisations can strengthen digital trust and defend data, AI models and software supply chains against increasingly sophisticated threats.

Operate examines the building of the agentic enterprise, a model in which AI systems are given a goal rather than a fixed set of instructions, breaking that goal into steps, drawing on the systems and data they need and carrying the work through under human oversight, reshaping operations along the way.

Enable turns to AI-ready data foundations and intelligent workflows, showing how businesses can embed AI into everyday processes to unlock efficiency, insight and innovation.

Control addresses governance, risk and trust, setting out the frameworks organisations need to implement responsible AI, maintain compliance and scale adoption with confidence.

Keynote sessions, alliance-led thought leadership, practical case studies and peer discussions are intended to give attendees actionable insight into how organisations are scaling AI, strengthening cyber resilience and modernising operations while maintaining governance and control.

Kevin Mallia, Consulting Partner at EY Malta, said: "Many organisations have moved beyond asking whether AI is relevant and are now focused on how to scale it safely, responsibly and effectively. EY Engage is designed for leaders looking to learn from real experiences, understand what is working in the market and translate emerging technologies into tangible business outcomes."

The event draws technology leaders, CIOs, CISOs, transformation professionals and senior business executives from across Malta's public and private sectors, with contributions from EY professionals, global alliance partners and industry practitioners.

Attendees also have the opportunity to take part in Future Realised 2026, EY Malta's flagship economic forum, which returns for its 22nd edition to explore Malta's competitiveness in a changing global environment, with a focus on geopolitics and AI. Together, the two events give participants a view of both the technological and economic forces shaping organisation and Malta's wider business landscape.
