Malta Business Awards Return To Celebrate The Best Of Local Enterprise

The Malta Chamber of SMEs and Malta Enterprise have launched the fifth edition of the Malta Business Awards, opening the door for companies across the country to gain recognition for their achievements.

The fifth edition of the Malta Business Awards is now open for applications, offering recognition to businesses across a range of sectors. This year's programme features 20 awards spread across three main categories: Distinct Initiatives, Innovative and Sustainable Initiatives, and Celebrating Business. 

Business owners and companies are encouraged to submit their entries through the official Malta Business Awards website, with applications remaining open until 30th June 2026. Crucially, there is no application fee, ensuring the awards stay accessible to businesses of every size. Finalists will be announced on 7 September, ahead of the prestigious Malta Business Awards Gala Night in November.

Speaking at the launch, Malta Chamber of SMEs President Paul Abela said the awards provide a valuable opportunity to showcase Malta's most successful businesses. Malta Enterprise CEO George Gregory underlined the importance of the awards and the integrity and seriousness of the adjudication process, while SME Chamber COO Andrew Aquilina noted that the previous four editions had attracted more than 1,500 applications, a clear sign of the scheme's growing popularity.

This year's edition is backed by an array of partners, with Malta International Airport among the leading Platinum supporters, reflecting strong confidence across Malta's corporate landscape in the country's thriving and dynamic business community.
